培养目标：

本专业是为了适应世界经济全球化发展对国际型应用人才的需求，由天津中德应用技术大学和西班牙IMH机床技术学院共同合作开设。立足服务于模具、电子产品、家用电器、汽车等行业，培养掌握冲压成形工艺、塑料成型工艺、模具装配工艺等知识，能熟练应用CAD/CAM软件、熟练操作机床进行模具设计与制造，模具的安装、调试、维修和管理，数控机床编程与操作等工作的国际化高素质应用型专门人才。

主要课程：西班牙语、机械产品设计、钣金模具设计、铸造模具设计、塑料模具设计、自动化、机加工技术、机械产品设计工艺实施等。

办学特色：本专业引进西班牙IMH机床学院先进的教学理念、教学模式、教材及教学、考核标准开展教育教学，系统学习具有西班牙职业教育特色的专业技能课程，强化应用西班牙语的学习，培养了解国际制造业先进技术和发展趋势，具备模具设计与制造应用能力，具有国际视野和创业能力的新型技术应用人才。学生毕业后可取得天津中德应用技术大学和西班牙IMH机床学院的双学历证书。本专业拥有800平方米各种模具实训场地，近100台套实训设备。包括机械制图实训室、热处理实训室、模具仿真实训室、模具设计实训室、3D打印基础实训室、特种加工实训中心、模具实训车间。本专业注重对学生技能的培养，所培养的毕业生满足航空航天、装备制造、电子信息、国防、汽车等各领域对模具专业人才的需求。
